What is the Prevention - Body MOT?

Whatever your sport or activity, the prevention program will help you stay injury-free and optimise your performance. It helps to assess how people move, identify their trouble spots, and improve their function.

The program aims to recognise your successful movement and identify compensatory patterns and weak spots that can lead to injuries. This information is then used to build a unique prevention program for you.

The prevention program begins with a 3D movement screening.

For global human function in 3DMAPS (3D Movement Analysis & Performance System), the assessment identifies body movement in all three planes of motion (66 motions of the body) in just six succinct movements. This allows mobility/flexibility to be assessed by using lunges with bilateral hand swings. By tweaking these movements, stability/strength is assessed by using single-leg balance foot reaches with bilateral hand swings.

The 3DMAPS is the most effective way to analyse and enhance the entire body in an efficient, revealing, and evidence-based manner.

This assessment will allow us to break down the movement, identify dysfunction, and apply an adaptive exercise program tailored to your needs.
